Why Do I Need A Mighty Paw Dog Car Seat Belt?
Accidents can happen to all of us at any time through no fault of our own, so neither you nor us should take the risk of our pups becoming first class projectiles when we're having to hit the breaks hard and unexpectedly!

How Do Dog Car Seatbelts Work?
The concept of car seat belts for dogs is the same as for our human seat belts.
We buckle us and our kids up when we get ready for a ride in the car, right? Well, we can and should do the same for our pups.
All you need is a well-fitting dog harness and a dog car seat belt. That's it!
Ideally, the harness should be a dog seat belt harness with metal hardware that's designed for car rides, but any harness is better than no harness.
Under no circumstances should you attach the dog seat belt to your pup's collar - that's just not safe enough and can really do some damage to your pup's neck in case of an accident. If the collar's not tight enough, it can even slide off your dog's neck and negate the whole pet seat belt set up altogether!
Once your pup is in the car, all you need to do is attach their dog seatbelt to their harness on the back leash attachment point.
Like I mentioned before, we designed several different dog seatbelts, four to be exact, one of which is sure to be the right fit for you pup(s)!
The standard type is the one that fits into your car's buckles. However, there are some dogs who happen to step onto the buckles they're attached to and accidentally unbuckle themselves.
For those special pups, we also carry dog seatbelts that attach to your vehicle's frame (the latch bar) just like child car seats and to your car's head rests.
We even have one puppy seat belt that's chew-proof! That version also works well for adult pups that tend to chew on or through their leashes and seatbelts.
