How To Clean Leather Dog Collars & Leashes

Just like any other leather products, leather dog leashes and collars benefit from a little TLC from time to time.

It's easiest to treat them with a leather conditioner or saddle soap so they will keep looking their best, especially if your pup decides to take a dip in the ocean!

Saltwater is pretty harsh on leather, so rinse their leather gear off with fresh water, wipe it dry and then treat it. 

Any Cons?

As I've mentioned before, leather is super soft which is why it's extra tempting for teething puppies and adult power chewers! That's why I recommend to put your leather leash out of your curious pup's reach as soon as you're done using it.
