Moving on to our standard version!
Besides the basics that we already covered, here's what you'll find on this leash:
- Good grip leather handle
- Metal clasp
- Plain handle
The leather handle on this particular leash does not feature additional padding on the inside. But even without it, you still have a comfortable, good grip experience.
The clasp on the standard version is a metal clasp that withstands 385lbs of pulling force. That said, it's a really good option for active dogs who aren't stubborn pullers.
Staying with the minimalistic design, there's no decorative stitching detail on the handle.

How To Clean Your Braided Leather Dog Leash
In order for leather leashes (& collars!) to keep looking their best throughout the years, you should treat them with a leather conditioner or saddle soap every so often.
If your leather leash gets wet, wipe it down with a soft cloth and then treat it with the conditioner or soap.
Let it dry and you'll be ready to head out on more adventures with your furry best friend(s) in no time!
