"This is a GREAT product! I have tried several of these extenders to be able to walk my 2 beagles on one leash. I have a a 6 year old beagle and a 15 week old beagle. The "lite" model is perfect! I think if it were the 30-100 it would be too tough for them. This one seemed perfect! I may have to upgrade when the puppy gets to be full grown, but not really sure yet. If so, I will be more than glad to pay the money for the heavier duty one as this item is perfect!! Being that I have a puppy, she twists and turns a lot and they never got tangled up. Beware if they walk behind you as it could easily sweep you off your feet if they each try to go to a different side of you. If you are looking for a solution to walk two dogs and not get all tangled up.. this is it!"

"Thank you for making this sanity saving product!!! I recently got a second dog, and while I planned for many things, I never thought about the actual logistics of walking two dogs. Turns out, it's a tangled mess!! I turned to Amazon and found this - there were cheaper versions by other brands, but I'm not risking my dogs' safety just to save ten bucks. This is a sturdy, well-made product. People are constantly stopping to ask questions, because these gizmos are not sold at Petsmart, unfortunately, and it is exactly what anyone with two dogs needs to walk two dogs without going crazy! Instead of you getting tangled up, or the dogs, the dogs just walk nicely side by side. Occasionally they step over it or get it pulled under a leg, but they quickly figured out how to fix themselves! You do have to be alert when one is talking a potty break so you can ask the other to wait, but that's really it! My dogs are 45 and 55 pounds, and one is a puller - this has actually helped with that a lot, because he has to match what the other dog is doing. Plus they just look so freaking cute walking right next to each other, like they're actually well behaved or something...not!"

"This double dog leash attachment finally made it possible for me to take my 2 beagles wherever I want to without constantly getting tangled up. They are still puppies and love to go different directions all the time. This keeps them from getting leashes jumbled, allows me to lift them one at a time into my truck while still leashed together, and keeps them from ricocheting every time they go opposite directions with the help of the bungee. They like to grab hold of the bungee with their teeth and "take themselves" for a walk and so far their puppy sharp teeth haven't left any kind of damage to the outer shell of the bungee. I couldn't be happier with my purchase both for the utility it provides and the great price I paid for it. If you have multiple dogs to walk, this is the way to go for sure!"

"We have a large dog (90 lbs) and a small dog (15 lbs). We bought the standard-sized double leash with handle, and so far it has worked out great. The large dog tends to pull, so it was recommended by the company that we try the standard-size (30-100 lbs) leash. With this leash the big dog does tend to pull the small dog around; in other words our big dog has more freedom on this leash than the small dog, so it does take some managing to make sure she (little dog) does not get bowled over. With that said, this leash makes it so much easier to walk these two pups at the same time. I was never able to walk them at the same time before, just ended up in a tangle of leashes and frustrated. I also like the handle, which is shorter than a regular leash to accommodate the bungees, and it comes with a padded handle that is very comfortable. I hesitated at first to get the handle, but I am very happy I did. Overall, I am so pleased with this leash and handle. The quality is very good, and best of all - it works! I would buy this again and recommend it to others."
Heavy duty, works for my big dogs
"Works well for my 2 large dogs! I have a 68 lbs Pointer and an 89 lbs Lab and it is holding them well! The lab is a heavy puller, and the pointer goes crazy when she sees a cat. The bungee is a bit stiff, and I saw that on other reviews as well. I wear a hands free hip leash when walking them and that has a bungee too and so far that softens their pull a bit better than the bungee on the coupler. Leash and metal parts are good quality, although it might be too heavy if you have small dogs. Highly recommended for big dogs! I recommend lifting your leash up a bit if they try to sniff around to avoid getting tangled on the coupler."
