Doesn’t adjust small enough

"Unable to use. It does not adjust small enough to stay up. Has one fixed hook for double leash to hook on to with second small hook that freely slides on the hands free belt. Smaller hook could possibly be meant to hook poop bag holder. When hooking a second hand free leash on the smaller free, sliding hook it causes the hands-free leash to get tangled up and wrapped around you. And then add the belt falling down. It’s a disaster."

Breeze

"Two thumbs up! Nicely fit, gave my hands a lot of room to do anything while I walk my dog. Super easy to use with durability!"

different use

"I am very happy with my purchase but did not buy this item for the advertised use. I purchased this to keep my medium and large dogs from trying to get to the front seats of my car via the console. I had purchased the safety belt attachment on one end with the leash attachment at the other. After a couple of short car trips they had either figured out how to unbuckle the seat belt end while stepping of it, or either did it by accident. Either way, they both were attempting to climb into the front seat over the console. It was becoming a hazard for me to drive with them in the car at this point. I found this with leash attachments at both ends. One goes over the back seat and buckles on to the headrest bar a few inches down behind the back seat, the other attached to each ones collar ( bought two, one for each dog). Problem solved, they are unable to unfasten the back leash attachment behind the seat, and the short (3') lead is just enough where they are able to lie down, but not enough to attempt to crawl into the front seat. Hope this makes sense, but it works for me."

Good quality, strong and durable

"I had a previous hands free leash from a different company that broke in the middle of a walk when my over-excited puppy pulled on the leash one too many times and the stitching gave out- luckily we were almost home and he didn't run into the busy road near our house. This leash feels strong, durable and high quality, with reinforced stitching in critical areas and I anticipate it holding up well even if you have a strong puller who hasn't quite mastered loose leash walking just yet. Our old leash was also too long and my pup would always get tangled when he stopped to go to the bathroom, and it was very annoying to have to keep stopping to untangle him from the leash. The 36 inch length was perfect for my medium size 45lb dog, and doesn't drag on the ground and get tangled under his feet when he walks next to me on a loose leash. I love the extra D rings at the hip and bottom of the leash for adding a second dog, and it's nice to be able to choose to attach the leash to right or left side depending on what side you trained your dog to walk on and still have the clip in the front where it is easy to access. Overall a great quality product that I highly recommend."

No tangles, less hassle

"I love how I can now walk my dog hands free! I still have my 2 hands available to do anything while on the walk."

Great leash! Although I prefer the Mighty Paw 4-foot leash over the 3-foot leash.

"Mighty Paw made an awesome leash! If you like your dog by your side, buy the 3-foot. If you like him running ahead of you, wait until the 4-foot leash is on sale (I think at the end of this month?)."

Makes running with my dog much more comfortable

"This running dog leash is great. It took a while for both of us to get used to it but now it makes our runs so much more enjoyable. I was having back issues from holding a leash during our runs. My dog used to pull a lot so I bought this and paired it with one of those "no pull" nose leashes and it works perfect. I recommend the smaller option - my large dog (70 pounds) can be leash-aggressive towards other dogs on the trail so, especially with the bungee, I don't want her getting too far away for me. It took her a few days to get used to the length but now she stays fairly close to me without any issues. I took off a star for comfort because, when she does pull, the material is not comfortable on my back. If they could put a small padding on the back of the waist band, it'd be perfect."

Great leash! Although I prefer the Mighty Paw 4-foot leash over the 3-foot leash.

"Initially I wasn't thrilled about this leash. I bought it because I run 5k races with my 65lb dog and wanted something hands free. This leash is 36-inches, which gives your dog enough room to run BY YOUR SIDE. If you like your dog to run in front of you then you'll find this leash to be too short, as I have and was constantly kicking the back of my dogs paws until he ran by my side. However,I find this leash is GREAT for walks. Mighty Paw does make a 48-inch version which I'm absolutely in love with! It's just long enough to run with your dog in front of you without accidentally kicking them. I did originally by an extender for the 3-foot leash, but find that the extra metal clip really weighs it down. From here on I'll review both leashes since I already mentioned the only difference."
