How Do I Measure My Dog For The Mighty Paw Harnesses?
You'll always want to measure around your dog's neck and chest. Simply use the dotted lines in the measurement graphics we include with all of our harness product listings as reference points. That's where you'll want to measure. It's easiest to use a soft measuring tape on your pup, but you can also get accurate measurements using a piece of string or ribbon and a ruler. Place the string around your dog's neck and the chest area right behind the front legs, respectively. Use your fingers to mark the length on the string, then place that amount of string along a ruler to get its length in inches.

How Do I Use The Mighty Paw Martingale Collars?
We carry several different types of Martingale Collars. While they’re made of different materials, the concept is the same for all. They consist of 2 different size loops which help teach polite leash walking and reduce your dog’s pulling on leash. Here’s how it works: Put the Martingale collar up high around your dog’s neck and make sure that the smaller loop sits behind your dog’s ears. Next, clip their leash to the D-ring on the smaller loop. That higher position of the collar on your dog’s neck gives you a lot more control over their head as you’d have with a lower position around your dog’s neck. When your dog pulls, you want to let them know that this behavior is not OK. To do that, give a quick tug on the leash. This tightens the smaller loop the leash is attached to and gives your dog the cue to stop pulling. Remember to release the tension on the leash after you give the tug.
Can The Martingale Collars Be Worn At All Times?
The martingale collar is a training collar and should only be worn during training sessions and walks or when supervised.
