"I love the thick, study band type of leash this uses vs the string of the cheap one i had before. The string type really hurt if i got wrapped up in it when my puppy circled me. It also cuts you if you grab it or sometimes if it comes across you bare skin. The Mighty Paw will also cut you if you’re not careful or you are six like my granddaughter! Not as trouble-free as i had hoped. I bought this because the cheap one i had kept getting stuck (locked). It worked very well for about a week and a half, but now it too locks up and is difficult to unlock."
