"Bought this for my tiny 6lbs leash power-chewer (only chewed leashes) While the clip was huge on her, it wasn’t too heavy or bulky attached to her harness and it worked perfectly! Unfortunately, she did chew through the black rubber cover, and then eventually chewed it to the point of beginning to fray. The metal also stained her teeth. I still highly recommend this leash, just be aware that if your dog is a determined power chewer like mine, this leash isn’t invincible. It also didn’t help that she needed to be wearing the leash all day as we were working on housetraining. If there had been a better method for her to not need the leash 12 hours a day (after trying several housetraining methods, the leash method was what worked best for us and she had it down quickly in my opinion). She was also a nervous chewer and would go to town on the leash while riding in the car. While the leash isn’t invincible, it held up to A LOT of chewing before she finally damaged it to the point of retirement (it’s still usable, but I don’t want to risk metal slivers, and the leash is technically compromised even though she doesn’t pull while walking)"

"I like the leash but unfortunately my dog does too. This leash was supposed to be a leash that dogs really don't like to chew on. My dog is the exception."

"Just like every other leash we have tried, our dog has chewed through this. Both the plastic lining around the main green area of the leash and the black rubber areas. Certainly not chew-proof."
